CalWORKs: California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids

CalWORKs grant funding supports education and training in public adult education programs and regional occupational centers by: 

• Assisting CalWORKs clients with entry level employment
• Guiding CalWORKs clients into short-term education and training programs leading to employment
• Supporting employed clients who are receiving subsidies or supportive services to achieve higher employment and self-sufficiency

The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, SBC ROP is the consortium lead for the following adult schools and ROCPs:

Apple Valley Adult Education, Chaffey Adult School, Chino Valley Adult School, Colton Adult School,

Fontana Adult School, Hesperia Adult School, Lucerne Valley Adult School, Redlands Adult School,

Inland Career Education Center, Snowline Adult School, Yucaipa Adult School,

Colton-Redlands-Yucaipa ROP, and San Bernardino County ROP.
