Postsecondary Advanced Drone Pilot Training

 

Course Overview

This instructor-led course is designed for adult learners, including new FAA Part 107 certificate holders and experienced drone operators seeking to expand their skills through scenario-based, hands-on, and precision flight training. Expert instructors guide participants through advanced topics to enhance operational capabilities and prepare them for complex UAS missions.

What You Will Learn

  • Legal & Regulatory Mastery: Understand FAA regulations, waivers, and compliance requirements.

  • Camera Expertise: Apply advanced camera techniques for video, photography, and mapping operations.

  • Mapping & Modeling Proficiency: Use industry-standard software to create 3D orthomosaics and detailed maps.

  • Interior & FPV Operations: Perform GPS-guided interior flights and develop First Person View (FPV) piloting skills.


Prerequisite

Students must currently hold a valid FAA Part 107 certification to participate in this course.


Completion Requirement

Participants must attend all in-person sessions to successfully complete the course.

  • Payments for classes and services are nonrefundable and registrations are nontransferable. Refunds will not be issued once registration is complete.
  • Must be 18 years or older to register. (Not available to currently enrolled high school students.)
