This course, designed for adult learners, prepares current and aspiring food service professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to ensure food safety and meet industry health standards.
Whether you're a manager, chef, food handler, or entrepreneur, this training supports compliance with local and federal regulations and promotes best practices in safe food handling.
Taught by a certified ServSafe® instructor, the course prepares you for an industry-recognized certification that is essential for advancing in the food service industry.
What You Will Learn:
- Core Food Safety Principles – Understand sanitation, contamination prevention, and personal hygiene practices essential in food service environments.
- Foodborne Illness Prevention – Learn how to identify risk factors and implement strategies to minimize the spread of foodborne illnesses.
- Safe Handling, Preparation & Storage – Practice proper procedures for receiving, storing, preparing, cooking, and serving food safely.
