Workplace Readiness Week

Workforce SBCSS is excited to introduce a comprehensive suite of resources designed for educators during Workplace Readiness Week in alignment with Assembly Bill AB 800's visionary goals. Our resources cover essential topics such as child labor laws, workplace safety, wage and hour protections, and workers' compensation, ensuring that students are well-informed and prepared for the workforce. Our resources include engaging videos, interactive apps, real-life scenarios, and lesson plans aligned with the History-Social Science 11-12 Content Standards and the National Standards for Personal Finance Alignment where applicable.

We recognize that workplace legislation and standards are constantly evolving, and we are committed to continually expanding and updating our materials to cover all topics outlined in AB 800. This ongoing effort ensures that our resources remain relevant, comprehensive, and valuable tools in the hands of educators striving to equip their students with the knowledge and skills necessary for workplace readiness. Join us in fostering an informed, prepared, and resilient future workforce by empowering your teaching with Workforce SBCSS's resources.
