Postsecondary Beginner Drone Pilot Training
This instructor-led course is designed for adult learners and focuses on FAA regulation compliance and hands-on UAV flight operations. Upon completion, participants will have the skills needed to pass the FAA Part 107 UAS Drone Pilot Exam and operate UAVs safely for commercial purposes.

What You Will Learn

FAA Part 107 Test Preparation: In-depth coverage of FAA regulations, airspace considerations, and exam-critical concepts.

Ground School: Airspace classifications, weather interpretation, and flight planning strategies for safe and legal operations.

Flight Line Training: Supervised, hands-on UAV flight practice emphasizing real-world maneuvers and safety protocols.
Completion Requirement
Participants must attend all virtual and in-person sessions to successfully complete the course.
Important Information
- The course fee includes one FAA Part 107 exam attempt. If a retake is necessary, participants must independently schedule and arrange the retake.
- Payments for classes and services are nonrefundable and registrations are nontransferable. Refunds will not be issued once registration is complete.
- Must be 18 years or older to register. (Not available to currently enrolled high school students.)
