The Dreamers, Visionaries, and Leaders (DVL) Project is dedicated to honoring the African American contribution to our American History. In 2013 DVL expanded efforts to celebrate and recognize Hispanic culture through the recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month. DVL has honored 188 individuals located in the High Desert for their professional accomplishments and community service and approximately 60 High Desert college-bound students. Join this SBConnect Black History Month Session where two Legacy Scholarship Program recipients will share their journey into their post-secondary studies.
