Postsecondary Beginner Drone Pilot Training
This instructor-led course is designed for adult learners interested in learning to operate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for commercial purposes. Participants will receive instruction in FAA regulations and hands-on flight operations while building the foundational knowledge needed to prepare for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Knowledge Exam.
Participants will review FAA regulations, airspace classifications, weather interpretation, flight planning, and other concepts covered on the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Knowledge Exam. The course also includes Ground School instruction and supervised Flight Line Training, providing opportunities to apply safe flight practices and develop fundamental UAV operating skills.

Completion Requirement
Participants must attend all virtual and in-person sessions to successfully complete the course.
Important Information
- The course fee includes one attempt at the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Knowledge Exam. If a retake is necessary, participants are responsible for scheduling and paying for any additional exam attempts.
- Payments for classes and services are nonrefundable, and registrations are nontransferable. Refunds will not be issued once registration is complete.
- Must be 18 years or older to register. (Not available to currently enrolled high school students.)
