Now in its second year, the CHOPPED Culinary Competition invites high school culinary students to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, competitive setting. Participants are tasked with creating innovative dishes using mystery ingredients revealed at the start.

Judged by local industry professionals on taste, presentation, originality, and food safety, the event provides valuable experience, professional feedback, and an opportunity to shine in the culinary arts!

The Sweet Genius Competition showcases the top high school culinary students from San Bernardino County's East Valley and West End regions in a fast-paced baking challenge. Students put their creativity, technical skills, and teamwork to the test as they craft innovative desserts under pressure. Judged by local culinary experts, this event highlights student talent, provides real-world industry feedback, and inspires the next generation of pastry chefs and bakers.

Now entering its second year, the Welding Wars Competition—hosted in collaboration with San Bernardino Valley College—brings together high school welding students from East Valley and West End programs across San Bernardino County. This dynamic event challenges teams to complete a series of timed welding tasks under the watchful eye of industry professionals. Judges evaluate technical skills, creativity, and safety practices, including the proper use of PPE, hand tools, and welding equipment. Trophies are awarded for top individual and team performances based on overall rubric scores, celebrating excellence in craftsmanship, precision, and teamwork.
