Workforce SBCSS continues to provide leadership in establishing and strengthening a STEM culture in San Bernardino County and the Inland Empire. Funding provided through previous federal and foundation grants has allowed districts to engage in early STEM education efforts at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Workforce SBCSS works to enhance and expand current programs to ensure that the overall development of the STEM talent pipeline and culture is continued. The success of STEM focused programs and pathways to date shows both opportunity and promise in creating a culture that will offer students better educational and career opportunities, and employers' access to a highly-skilled and locally available STEM workforce.
